Der Morgenthau
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wenn die Erde ruht
in tiefem Schlaf
in stiller Nacht,
und mit der Erde
der müde Mensch,
so wandeln Gestalten
Hand in Hand
und reden nichts
und schauen sich an
mit leuchtenden Blicken.
Das sind die Sterne,
die toten Lieben;
sie kommen herab
aus fernen Räumen,
aus ihren Himmeln
zur schlummernden Welt,
die Menschen zu schauen,
du denken der alten
Erdensonnen,
der alten Träume,
und weinen so selig.
Es lauschen die Blumen;
sie tragen die Tränen
in blühenden Schalen
ins Morgenrot.
