by Otto Julius Bierbaum (1865 - 1910)

Heute sah ich, heute, o
Language: German (Deutsch)
Heute sah ich, heute, o
Hinter einer grünen Weide
Zwei sich küssen; diese beide
Schienen mir des Lebens froh.

Ei, wie reizend war sie, und,
O, wie eifrig bei der Sache!
Manche geben flaue, flache
Küsse; -- ihre waren rund.

Rund und voll, und, wie mir schien,
Wußte er sowas zu schätzen,
Und so war es ein Ergötzen
Wie für sie, so auch für ihn.

Selbst der grünen Weide rann
Ein Entzücken durch die Zweige,
Und sie sah sich mit Geneige
Das Geschnäbel freundlich an.
