In der Schenke
Language: German (Deutsch)
In der Schenke auf der Wiese
Hallali, hallalo!
Braunes Bier schenkt Jungfer Liese,
Drum ist man fidel und froh;
Lässt die Becher helle klingen,
Flotte Bursche lustig singen,
Freu'n sich der Behaglichkeit.
O du schöne, goldne Zeit!

In der Schenke auf der Wiese
Hallali, hallalo!
Trifft ein Schelmenwort die Liese,
Die sagt nur: "na, na, so, so!"
Doch die Augen schlägt sie nieder,
Stürmisch pocht's ihr unterm Mieder,
Und das Herz wird ihr so weit,
O du schöne, goldne Zeit!

In der Schenke auf der Wiese
Hallali, hallalo!
Braunes Bier schenkt Jungfer Liese,
Schäumend frisch wie nirgend wo.
In der Laub' ein lauschig Plätzchen,
Abends an der Brust ein Schätzchen,
Und der Welt vergessend beid',
O du schöne, goldne Zeit!
