by Joannes Reddingius (1873 - 1944)

Aetherblauw
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)
Licht en levend aetherblauw,
wees mijn troost,
'k leefde lang in winterkou.
In het Oost
zag ik nergens rozenbloei,
zongegloei.

'k Draag verlangen in mij staêg
naar uw tint,
want mij trof zoo meenge vlaag.
Felle wind
deed mij huivren in den dag,
zonder lach.

Geef me uw glans één oogenblik,
daal in mij,
laat mij zingen: gij en ik!
Maak mij blij,
daar gij voor het kind, dat droomt,
zege-stroomt.
