Ich will nicht, dass der Mond Dein Antlitz sieht, Wenn er zur Nacht an Dir vorüberzieht, Und dass des Tages Sonne Dich erwärmt, Indess sich Mehmed weinend um Dich härmt. Ich will nicht, dass der Regen Dich ergötzt, Wenn alle andern Blumen er benetzt. Ich will nicht, dass Dich Deine Mutter liebt, Und dass sie ihrem Kinde Küsse giebt! Ich will dein Mond und deine Sonne sein. Und dürstet dich, bin ich der Mundschenk dein. Ich will dich lieben, jetzt und immerdar. Und will allein dir küssen Mund und Haar.
