Att åldras är att ta farväl 
farväl till alla stunder 
En gåva är det att få åldras väl, 
Att stilla njuta av det under 
som dagen bjuder på. 

Att åldras är att se en väg, 
En väg som långt Du vandrar 
En gåva är det att få ha en vän 
Att gå tillsammans är det under 
som lyckan bjuder på. 

Som vänskap, glädje, smärta, 
stå oss när' de störa ej. 
Men skänka minnets tröst 
och kärlek färgar livets höst.
