by Ludvig Holstein (1864 - 1943)

Bygen flygter
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Bygen flygter så mørk og våd,
og alle de blomstrende lønne
bliver så lysende grønne;
frugtbar var forårets gråd.

Himlen er jo som sølv at se,
og ren er solsortens trille.
Grenene grønnes så stille,
skønne ting skal nu ske.

Tavs er pigen, som træder ind
under de bristende kroner.
Undrende hører hun toner
strømme gennem sit sind.

Løndomsfuldt og forunderligt rigt
blunder et smil på munden.
Nær er forløsningsstunden.
Skaberen drømmer sit digt.
