Minnenclachte

Eilaes, hoe wee het doet,
dat ic u laten moet! 
ghi waert ter werelt mi die liefste. 
ic vindu niewers weer, 
ic sie u nemmermeer.
al lust is henen, 
en ic moet wenen. 
 
Op aerden vindic nu 
gheen vroude sonder u, 
en sal ooc ghene weder vinden.
een leven so alst mijn, 
hoe macht een leven sijn!
u, al mijn leven,
moet ic begheven.

Waer si gheloont mach sijn, 
is minne ghene pijn; 
een hert in minnenlust mach singhen:
maer ic en singhe niet, 
een suchten is mijn liet, 
al lust is henen,
en ic moet wenen.
