Noch ruhet Wald und Flur und kaum ein Morgenlüftchen fuhr durch den stillen Raum, kaum, kaum nur atmet die Natur. Noch schlummert Groß und Klein, ich bin mit meinem Geist allein, betend bei dem Herrn, gern, gern so frühe denk' ich sein.
