[I sah mal a Blimle]1, das war so geknickt, 
Und hat scho ganz trauri sei Köpfte genickt,
Doch habens de Blätter so lang noch geschmuckt, 
Bis de Sonn war unter e Himmel geruckt.

I sah mal e Falter, der lebte no 
Und war doch zerstoche gar grausam scho,
Es haben de Fligle gezittert, gezuckt,
Bis de Sonn war unter e Himmel geruckt.

I sah mal a Fisch, der war nit tot 
Und war doch zerschnitte und bluti roth,
Es haben de Stickte gelebt und gezuckt,
Bis de Sonn war unter e Himmel geruckt.

Mei Schatz is mer untreu. -- A Jedes sind Ruh: 
Der Fisch und der Falter, das Blimle dazu;
Mei Sonn is scho unter, ezwei is mei Herz,
Und kann doch nit sterbe bei alle dem Schmerz.
