Drei Lieder für 1 Singstimme mit Pianofortebleitung , opus 9

by Franz Otto Sturm

1. An einen Boten  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: German (Deutsch)
"Wenn du zu meinem Schätzchen kommst,
Sag', ich laß sie grüßen!
Wenn sie fraget, wie mir's geht,
Sag', auf beiden Füßen!

Wenn sie fraget, ob ich krank,
Sag', ich sei gestorben!
Wenn sie an zu weinen fängt,
Sag', ich käme morgen!"

Da kam er vor ein Goldschmiedhaus,
Der Goldschmied schaut zum Fenster raus.
"Ach Goldschmied, liebster Goldschmied mein,
Schmied' mir ein schönes Ringelein!

Schmied's nicht zu groß, schmied's nicht zu klein,
Schmied's für ein schönes Fingerlein!
Auch schmied' mir meinen Namen dran,
Es soll's meine Herzallerliebste han!"
