Musik bewegt mich, daß ich dein gedenke,
So will auch Meer und Wolke, Berg und Stern,
Wie anderer Art als du, dir noch so fern,
Daß ich zu dir das Herz voll Andacht lenke.
Kein edles Bild, das nicht mein Auge zwinge
Von dir zu träumen, kein beseelter Reim,
Der nicht zu dir Erinnern führe heim --
Geschwister sind sich alle schönen Dinge.

Meines Herzens; bleibe, raste
Noch ein Weilchen in der Laube
Meiner Brust, du wilde Taube!

Duckt sich, schwingt sich auf: es wanken
