Sie machen Dir Komplimente
Und senden Dir Blumen in's Haus.
Doch Du, Du kleine Coquette,
Du lachst sie ja Alle nur aus!

Du lässt es Dir lächelnd gefallen,
Ich weiss es, nur mich hast Du lieb!
Ich stahl Dir manchen Kuss von den Lippen,
Doch Du vergabst gleich dem Dieb!

Sie machen Dir Komplimente
Und senden Dir Blumen in's Haus,
Doch Du, Du kleine Coquette,
Du lachst sie ja Alle nur aus!

Und wenn Du so lieblich sie anlachst,
Wie prahlen sie laut dann mit Dir!
