Schlagen die Flammen heller zusammen 
  Hier in der Freude gefülltem Pokal,
Denken wir gerne freundlicher Sterne,
  Freunde, der Frauen, beim fröhlichen Mahl,

Die uns ins Leben wonniglich weben
  Blumen der Liebe mit ewigem Glanz,
Wenn wir in Treuen ihrer uns freuen, 
  Immer erneuen sie selber den Kranz.

Seliger Frieden wird uns beschieden 
  Hold durch die Holden im traulichen Haus,
Aber vom Heerde über die Erde
  Wallet er weiter zur Menschheit hinaus.
