3. Die Nacht  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: German (Deutsch)
An silbernen Ketten hängt die Welt
Vom dunkelblauen Himmelszelt.

Wie eine Ampel silberschwer,
So schwingt sie leise hin und her.

Und aller Menschen Lust und Leid
Steigt aus der Ampel, erdbefreit.--

Ein einziger Ton nur klingt hinaus,
Als suche wer den Weg nach Haus . . .

Text Authorship:

  • by Heinrich Zerkaulen (1892 - 1954), "Die Nacht", appears in Erlebnis und Ergebnis. Begegnungen. Gedichte und Gesichte, in 2. Gesegneter Tag
