Zuerst war Eros im goldenen Licht
und wir wurden im Hag
als sein Hochgedicht
am strahlenden Tag
von ihm erschaffen.
 
Wir Vögel, vor den Göttern erwacht,
der Tiefe entstammt,
wir Enkel der Nacht,
vom Tag überflammt,
wir sind die Liebe!
