Wenn sich das Herz der Erde wieder löst,
und wieder weich die Fluth der Winde gleitet –
aufthaut in mir ein klagendes Erinnern.

Auch mir hat einmal sich das Herz gelöst,
einmal auch mir die Seele sich geweitet –
nun ward auch das ein Schmerz, geheim im Innern.
