3. Märchen  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: German (Deutsch)
Dies Eine möcht' ich gerne wissen,
woher die Menschen die Märchen haben,
die Märchen von den Paradiesen
und von den schönen Zaubergaben;
und von alles liebenden Göttern,
die alles Weh am Ende lindern,
den heiligen Weltfamilienvätern
und den Geschöpfen, ihren Kindern.
Das winkt so vertraut, so heimatferne,
mit solchen altbekannten Zügen:
Die Märchen, die Märchen!
Ich wüßte zu gerne, wie sie entstanden,
die süßen Lügen.
