In den Mond und die goldnen [Sterne,]3
Und dächte dabei in die Ferne:

Und [sommr'ge]4 Abendmilde!
Und dem Herzen die schönen Gebilde!
Wie froh grüß' ich über Gefilde:

Wie flimmerts am Himmelsraume,
Wie zittert's im Wasser-Schaume,
