Catalan (Català) translations of Drei Lieder nach Gedichten von Hermann Hesse, opus 44

by Viggo Brodersen (1879 - 1965)

1. Einsame Nacht
 (Sung text)
by Viggo Brodersen (1879 - 1965), "Einsame Nacht", op. 44 no. 1, published 1923 [ voice and piano ]
Language: German (Deutsch)
Die ihr meine Brüder seid,
Arme Menschen nah und ferne,
Die ihr im Bezirk der Sterne
Tröstung träumet eurem Leid,
Die ihr wortelos gefaltet
In die blaß gestirnte Nacht
Schmale Dulderhände haltet,
Die ihr leidet, die ihr wacht,
Arme, irrende Gemeinde,
Schiffer ohne Stern und Glück --
Fremde, dennoch mir Vereinte,
Gebt mir meinen Gruß zurück.

pobre comunitat errant,
mariners sense estrella i sense fortuna –
estrangers i tanmateix units amb mi,
retorneu-me la meva salutació.

2. Frühling
 (Sung text)
by Viggo Brodersen (1879 - 1965), "Frühling", op. 44 no. 2, published 1923 [ voice and piano ]
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wieder schreitet er den braunen Pfad
Von den stürmeklaren Berge nieder,
Wieder quellen, wo der Schöne naht,
Liebe Blumen auf und Vogellieder.

Wieder auch verführt er meinen Sinn,
Daß in dieser zart erblühten Reine
Mir die Erde, deren Gast ich bin,
Eigentum und holde Heimat scheine.

2. Primavera
Language: Catalan (Català)
De nou avança pel camí terrós
baixant de les muntanyes esboirades per la tempesta,
de nou brosten, on la Bella s’apropa,
boniques flors i cants d’ocells.

També de nou Ella sedueix els meus sentits,
de forma que, en aquesta delicada, florent puresa,
la terra, de la que sóc un hoste, sembla ser
el meu domini i la meva encisadora pàtria.

3. Wie sind die Tage schwer
 (Sung text)
by Viggo Brodersen (1879 - 1965), "Wie sind die Tage schwer", op. 44 no. 3, published 1923 [ voice and piano ]
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wie sind die Tage schwer!
An keinem Feuer kann ich erwarmen,
Keine Sonne lacht mir mehr,
Ist alles leer,
Ist alles kalt und ohne Erbarmen,
Und auch die lieben klaren
Sterne schauen mich trostlos an,
Seit ich im Herzen erfahren,
Daß Liebe sterben kann.

3.
Language: Catalan (Català)
Que penosos són aquests dies!
Cap foc no em pot escalfar,
cap sol no em somriu ja,
tot és buit,
tot és fred i sense pietat,
i fins i tot les estimades, clares
estrelles m’esguarden amb desconsol,
des que el meu cor va saber
que l'amor pot morir.
