   Ô Juin, étincelle enivrée,
Penche aussi vers moi ta coupe dorée :
   Mon cœur à ta rose est pareil.

Sous le mol abri de la feuille ombreuse
   Monte un soupir de volupté :
Plus d'un ramier chante au bois écarté.
   Ô mon cœur, sa plainte amoureuse.

Que ta perle est douce au ciel [parfumé]2.
   Étoile de la nuit pensive !
Mais combien plus douce est la clarté vive
   Qui rayonne en mon coeur, en mon cœur charmé !

La chantante mer. Le long du rivage, 
   Taira son murmure éternel,
Avant qu'en mon cœur, chère amour.
   Ô Nell, ne fleurisse plus ton image !

    oh juny, guspira inebriada,
es vincla també cap a mi la teva copa daurada
    el meu cor és parell a la teva rosa.

Sota el suau aixopluc de l’ombrívol fullatge 
    s’enlaira un sospir de voluptat:
més d’un tudó canta al bosc llunyà.
    Oh cor meu, el seu plany amorós.

Que dolça és la teva perla al cel aflamat.
    Estrella de la nit pensiva!
Però com és encara més dolça la claror viva
    que resplendeix al meu cor, el meu cor encisat!

La mar cantant. Al llarg del ribatge,
    emmudirà abans el seu mormol etern,
que al meu cor, amor estimat,
    oh Nell, deixi de florir la teva imatge
