by Johann Ludwig Tieck (1773 - 1853)

Die Spinnerin
Language: German (Deutsch)
Das Rädchen
Dreht munter
Das Fädchen
Hinunter:
Wo weilst du
[Lieber]1,
Was eilst du
Fern über?
Und sinn' ich tagelang
Und spinn' ich wochenlang,
Bist du mein einz'ger Gedank'.
Bald seh' ich Seen,
Wenn's Rädchen surrt,
Indem es schnurrt,
Erscheinen Feen.
Und er geleitet
Ist unter ihnen:
Wie stolz er schreitet!
Ihm Geister dienen.
Dann fliegt er fröhlich
Durch Abendröte,
Es tönt so selig
Die Schäferflöte:
Dann wünsch' ich Schwingen
Zu ihm zu fliegen,
Aufwärts zu springen
In Wolken die Flügel zu wiegen.
