Grenarna luta nära, nära öfver oss ned sin snöbukett. Vindarna vagga skära, skära hängen, som böja sig mjukt och lätt. Häggen står brud för sommarens vind, vinden smeker dess vita kind. Drömmarna flyga ljusa, ljusa, sländorna svärma mot himlens blå. Höga häggarna susa, susa, vaja och hviska och hvita stå. -- Rundt om mig sommar och du i min famn! Lif, jag välsignar i jubel ditt namn!
