by (Johann Sebastian) Wilhelm Kilzer (1799 - 1844)

Die Nachtviole
Language: German (Deutsch)
In stillen Nächten haucht ihr reines Leben
die Nachtviole aus, die zarte Blume;
die Welt bemerkt es nicht, und nur die Sterne
freuen sich ihrer.

In Lebensnächten weint so manche Seele
ihr tiefes Leid, der lauten Welt verborgen.
Sei ruhig, Seele, auch in deine Nächte
schimmern die Sterne.
