Du bist jezt recht im Heimatlande!
Ist Wien, ist Wien nicht Deutschlands Herz?

Seit Dich in seine Brust voll Wonne
Der ritterliche Kaiser schloß,
Bist Du ihm Glückstern, bist ihm Sonne, --
Das ist fortan Dein lichtes Loos.

Wien grüßt mit Jubel und Gesängen,
Dich, welche selbst ist Poesie,
Zum Himmel tönt's in Wort u. Klängen:
"Gott Dank! wie lieb, wie lieb, ist Sie!"
