Language: German (Deutsch)  after the Czech (Čeština)
Fliege, Vogel, fliege, Falke,
Durch den schönen, grünen Hain,
Sage meinem Herzgeliebten
Ich gedenke immer sein.
Daß ich lebe, daß ich trau're,
Daß nach ihm ich klage laut,
Daß ich seufze, daß ich weine,
Weil mein Aug' ihn nicht erschaut.

Fliege, Vogel, fliege, Falke,
Durch den schönen, grünen Wald,
Sage meinem Herzgeliebten
Daß ich sterbe alsobald.
Kann ich bleiben, kann ich leben,
Wenn kein Glück mir will erblüh'n?
Besser ist's im Grab zu liegen
Als zu leben ohne ihn!
