Und kommt er nicht durch's Fensterlein
  Mit seinem warmen Duft,
Und schaut die Sonne nicht herein
  Aus blauer Himmelsluft,

So zieht er mir in's Herze schnell,
  Wie ich nur tret' hinaus,
Das wird sogleich zum Frühlingsquell,
  Und füllt meine Zelle aus.

Ich glaub' fürwahr, kein Kämmerlein
  Hat vor dem Lenz ein Schloß,
