by Georg Scherer (1824 - 1909)

O Frühlingsjubel! Durch die Luft
Language: German (Deutsch)
O Frühlingsjubel! Durch die Luft
Zieht Lerchenlied und Veilchenduft,
Im Wald die Drosseln schlagen.

Geduld mein Herz! Bald schmückt nun auch
Mit Rosen sich der ärmste Strauch
In diesen blauen Tagen.

Und sollte nicht ein Menschenherz
Aufblühen auch aus Gram und Schmerz
Und Freudenrosen tragen?
