Der Traum

Schlief das Mädchen ein, das Mädchen, Auf dem weiten Feld am Meere, Unter grünem Lorbeerbaume Blies daher ein stilles Lüftchen, Und es traf ein Zweig das Mädchen. Fuhr das Mädchen aus dem Traume, Schmollte leise auf das Lüftchen: „Daß du, Lüftchen jetzt gewehet! Wecktest mich aus meinem Traume, Und wie war der Traum so lieblich! Gingen hier drei junge Bursche, Schenkte mir ein Tuch der erste, Gab der zweite mir ein Goldstück, Einen Goldring mir der dritte, Ach und hielt mich süß umfangen!”
