O ye that hear
(Sung text for setting by D. Buck)
 Matches base text
Language: English
O ye that hear and understand,
look for your Shepherd!
O look for him! For He that shall come is nigh at hand,
and He shall give you everlasting rest.
O recieve the gift that is giver unto you,
recieve it and be glad.
Flee the shadow of this world,
be ready to the reward of the kingdom.
O ye that hear and understand,
upon you the everlasting light shall shine forever and ever.

Composition:

Set to music by Dudley Buck (1839 - 1909), "O ye that hear", op. 91 no. 1 (1882), from Three Offertories, no. 1
