Frühling Liebster
(Sung text for setting by C. Keller)
 Matches original text
Language: German (Deutsch)
Ich hatte mich entschlossen,
Nicht mehr für dich zu glühn,
Nicht mehr der Treue Sprossen,
O Falscher! dir zu ziehn.

Doch ach! da kamst du wieder,
Wo ich im Schlafe lag,
Durch meine Augenlieder
Drang deiner Schönheit Tag.

Du hast durch deine Küsse
Mir Gift in Herz geflößt,
Da hat mir die Entschlüsse
In Sehnsucht aufgelöst.
