Der Lerche Morgenlied
 (Sung text for setting by K. Kern)
 See original
Language: German (Deutsch)
Die Lerche singt ihr Morgenlied
Im hohen Jubelchor;
Und schwinget sich mit Sang und Klang
Zum Himmel hoch empor!
    Halleluja! Halleluja!
    So klingt's aus voller Brust.
    Lob, Ehr und Preis sei Gott gebracht!
    Singt sie in sel'ger Lust.

Ich stimm' aus vollem Herzen ein
In ihren Jubelchor,
Und mit dem Liede schwinget sich
Mein Herz zu Gott empor.
    Halleluja! Halleluja!
    So töne mein Gesang!
    Lob, Ehr und Preis sei Gott gebracht
    Im frohen Jubelklang!
