Ring‑time
 (Sung text for setting by M. Brahe)
 Matches base text
Language: English
If all the year were spring-time,
And skies were always blue,
Oh, then in pretty ring-time
I’d roam about with you;
By springing corn and clover’
By meadows fresh with dew,
I’d roam the wide world over
And sing my songs to you!

If all the year were spring-time,
And fairy tales were true,
Oh, then in happy ring-time
I’d give my heart to you;
My heart, so wildly beating,
Would thrill to life anew,
My lips, your fond lips meeting,
Would breathe my love to you!

Composition:

    Set to music by Mary Hannah (May) Brahe (1884 - 1956), "Ring-time" [ voice and piano ]
