Ich lehn' an einem Steine an einem stillen Platz;
ach, unter jenem Steine da liegt mein liebster Schatz.
Ich bin so trüb und traurig, so fried - und freudeleer,
es ruht auf meinem Herzen ein Stein auch, weltenschwer.
Der Stein von meinem Herzen, er fällt erst dann herab,
wenn selbst ich unterm Steine einst ruh' im stillen Grab.
