Dream of angels, little one
Language: English
On the leaf the dew-drop lies, flow'rs have closed their pretty eyes; all things lovely, all things bright, softly bid the world "good-night". Mother watches by thy side, shadows all the valley hide, weary cares of day are done; dream of angels, little one! Slumber on while joys remain! Grief may come and care and pain; mother's kiss is on thy brow, mother's love can shield thee now. While she fondly lingers near, while thy skies are bright and clear, slumber till the night is done, dream of angels, little one!
