Stille! Stille! Still nur still und immer still! Weil das Brüderlein schlafen will! Stille! Stille! Schlaf mein liebes Brüderlein, Sollst ein braves Kindlein sein! Stille! Stille! Vöglein in dem Neste liegt, Wird vom Winde sanft gewiegt! Stille! Stille! Häslein in dem dunklen Wald Schläft in seinem Bettchen bald. Stille! Stille! Hinter’m Ofen lieget still Kätzlein, weil es schlafen will. Stille! Stille! Schäflein liegt im Stall in Ruh, Schläft und macht die Augen zu! Stille! Stille! Täubchen sitzt im Taubenschlag, Schläft so viel es schlafen mag. Stille! Stille! Hühnchen schläft im Hühnerhaus, In dem dunklen Loch die Maus! Stille! Stille!
