Alles hab ich mir besehn,
Als ein Fremder, auf und nieder,
Mußt ich in den Straßen gehn.

Nur im Friedhof fern alleine
Hab ich manchen Freund erkannt,
Und bei einem Leichensteine
Fühlt ich eine leise Hand.
