Im Wald, im grünen Walde
(Sung text for setting by B. Randhartinger)
 See base text
Language: German (Deutsch)
Im Wald, im grünen Walde,
da mag ich gerne sein,
da schläft auf weichem Moose
schnell jeder Kummer ein.

Da kann auch ich vergessen,
was mich sonst traurig macht,
wenn durch die grünen Wipfel
die gold'ne Sonne lacht.

Und in den Himmel schaue
ich g'raden Weg's hinein!
Im schönen grünen Walde,
da mag ich gerne sein.

Composition:

Set to music by Benedikt Randhartinger (1802 - 1893), "Im Wald, im grünen Walde"
