Barnatro
 (Sung text for setting by H. Alfvén)
 See original
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Nu skymmer den höstliga dagen,
nu vissna de glada behagen
i sommarens grönskande skrud,
och, trötta som barn uti kvällen,
när brasan har slocknat på hällen,
gå blommornas själar till Gud.

Så säg mig, du flyende svala,
hur vill du i rymder så kala
nu hitta din villande stig?
-- O, det ingen sorg mig bereder;
min himmelske fader mig leder,
han visar nog vägen åt mig.
