Da drüben, da droben, da steht ein schön's Haus,
und dort muss ich vorbei auf den Acker hinaus.
Dort muss ich vorbei, wenn zur Kirchen wir geh'n,
da luge ich ich hin, will mein Schätzel 'mal sehn.

Und wandr' ich hin, sprech' ich still ein Gebet,
dass nicht lang' mehr mein Weg, ach, so weit zu ihr geht.
Denn so nah' ist das Kirchlein, der Pfarrer nicht fern,
und 's And're, Schatz, weißt du: Ich möcht' dich so gern!
