(Sung text for setting by M. Schnorr von Carolsfeld)
 See original
Language: German (Deutsch)
Ich hab' dein Bild im Traum gesehn,
Es war so mild und engelschön;
Dein Auge sah mich fragend an

In deinem Arme selig lag,
Da fühlt' ich es mit ganzer Lust,
Was mich bewegt in tiefster Brust:
"Ich hab' dich lieb!"

Composition:

Set to music by Malvina Schnorr von Carolsfeld (1825 - 1904), "Ich hab' dein Bild im Traum geseh'n" [ voice and piano ]
