Cantilena potatoria
(Sung text for setting by H. Zöllner)
 See original
Language: German (Deutsch)
So trinken wir laetifice
ein Kännlein von dem Besten,
das heilet uns magnifice
die Schäden und Gebresten.
Wir halten nostras vesperas
cantu cantilenarum
und trinken ohne Unterlass
salutem horum, harum.
Trink Trallirum larum lorum!
In secula, secula seculorum.

Hört zu, dass ich es nit vergess',
amemus quas amamus,
die hübeschen feinen wirgines
vivant, et nos bibamus!
Sin' ira d'rum, cum studio,
dass sich der Kummer wende,
so nimm, dann wird dein Herzlein froh,
das Glas in deine Hände
Trink Trallirum larum lorum!
In secula, secula seculorum.
