Die Lämmelein hüpfen
 (Sung text for setting by F. Silcher)
 Matches original text
Language: German (Deutsch)
Die Lämmelein hüpfen
Auf Rasen grün;
Die Bienelein schlüpfen
Durch Blumen hin.

Die Vögelein singen
Die ganze Zeit;
Die Lust muß erklingen
So weit und breit.

Da schauet vom Himmel
Gott selbst herein,
und sieht das Gewimmel
Wie sie sich freu'n.

Und giebt alle Tage
Einem jeden sein Brod;
Sie haben keine Klage,
Sie leiden nicht Noth.
