Danmarks Sommer gik sin Gang --
Blomst til Blomst i Solen sang :
Kys mig blidt! Kys mig tidt!
Bland dit Støv med mit!

Gul og rød og blaa og hvid
sang: kom hid! Det er Tid!
Bien fløj i Ring og Sving,
lod som ingenting.

Bien er en flittig Mand,
rejser rundt om Blomsterrand,
læsser Honning i sin Baad,
slynger støt sin Traad.

Kys mig blidt! Kys mig tidt!
Tag mit Støv og giv mig dit!
Blomster sang blandt Græssets Straa
gule, røde, blaa.

Blomster sang paa Biens Vej:
Vrag mig ej! Smag paa mig!
Kys mig blidt og kys mig tidt
og bland dit Støv med mit!
