Stummes Glück
Language: German (Deutsch)
Schwebet über stille Thale Grüßend eines Glöckleins Schall, Weckt er in der Seele Tiefen Wohllautvollen Wiederhall1. Süßer Klang, was willst du künden? Sag', was soll die Sehnsucht still, Was die Lust, davon das Herz mir Bebend überquellen will?

1 "Widerhall" would be correct, but Haggenmacher and Rauchenecker both write "Wiederhall" (noted by submitter).
