Mir träumte von einem schönen Kind
 (Sung text for setting by J. Weegenhuise)
 Matches base text
Language: German (Deutsch)
Mir träumte von einem schönen Kind,
Sie trug das Haar in Flechten;
Wir saßen unter der grünen Lind,
In blauen Sommernächten.

Composition:

    Set to music by Johan Weegenhuise (b. 1910), "Mir träumte von einem schönen Kind", published 1962, from Vier Lieder nach Heine, no. 2

Text Authorship:

  • by Heinrich Heine (1797 - 1856), no title, appears in Nachgelesene Gedichte 1828-1844 , no. 53
