Es steht ein Blümchen dort im Thal
(Sung text for setting by A. Wallnöfer)
 See original
Language: German (Deutsch)
Es steht ein Blümchen dort im Thal
Und blühet zart in sanfter Ruh --
Und das bist du!

Ein Schmetterling wiegt sich so süß
In ihrem Kelche hin und her --
Und das ist er!

Und über Beide schirmend traut
Neigt eine Trauerweide sich --
Und das bin ich!
