geschmückte Wiege, begränztes Grab,
ach, wie lieb, wie lieb ich dich hab.
Kann denn der Himmel viel schöner sein?
Sieh doch, die Wunder, die vielen,
Engelein mit deinen Blumen spielen.
Sonne, du hast sie freudig geweckt,
hast sie mit roten Rosen besteckt,
sie breitet die güldenen Tücher aus.
O Freude - noch bin bei dir ich zu Haus.
