Wiegenlied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Der Frühlingswind
wiegt leis' und lind
die Blümelein
in Schlummer ein.
Maiblümchen in der Wiege du,
dich singt dein Mütterlein zur Ruh'.

Die Glocke schallt,
nun wird auch bald
nach langem Tun
der Vater ruh'n.
Hüllt auch die Flur schon Dunkel ein,
du winkst ihm, kleiner Sonnenschein.

Großmütterlein
sieht leis' herein
und lächelt still,
und denkt gar viel.
Die Wange blüht; du hast, mich dünkt,
du kleiner Frühling, sie verjüngt!

Nun schließe du
die Äuglein zu,
ich halte sacht
am Bettchen Wacht.
Du lieber Gott! Schirm' allezeit
mein süßes Kind vor Weh' und Leid!
