Bedenk', daß ein' Schwalben
Language: German (Deutsch)
Bedenk', daß ein' Schwalben
Kein Sommer nit macht,
Und nimm dessenthalben
Dein Herz wohl in Acht.

Zu Wasser geht's Krüglein,
So lang', bis es bricht,
Die Lieb' hat zween Flüglein,
Leicht bind't man sie nicht.

Wohl schwanken aufs Neue
Viel Blumen im Wind --
Das Kräutlein der Treue
Gar selten man find't.

Doch wer hat's gefunden,
Halt's heilig und fest,
Bewach's alle Stunden,
Wie's Vöglein sein Nest.

Dein Gelb und Juwelen
Raubt kühn wohl ein Dieb --
Eins kann er nit stehlen:
Treuinnige Lieb'!
